Our shopping services can help ensure you get the hottest items that compliment the rest of your home’s furnishings. You can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars getting the right people to pick out the right stuff for you. Most homeowners buy furniture or accessories they fall in love with at the store but then find out later that these items don’t quite blend in with their current décor.  We are the top professionals in this field. Not only do we shop for a living we’ve been doing it longer than anyone else. We have relationships with many of the larger retail outlets and know where to get better products for less. As well, we have contracts with 5 manufactures and can directly order stunning upscale furniture that you cannot get in stores. Often our price point is 20-35 % below retail costs. As a design firm, we have access to the best that is being offered on the market and can work with you directly to attain the dream look you’ve always wanted for your home.

The pricing below reflects the most common use of our shopping services. Custom solutions can be worked out with any client but please use this as a guideline to help you budget for your project. Usually we need to meet with you for about 2 hours to conceptualize the plan and agree on a course of action. Then our designers will use our database and internet to source out items you wanted. We flag out store locations, price points, similar items you may need and timings for deliveries. This can take several hours to put everything together for you to make clear and informed decisions. To finish up our design team goes into the field and finds all the items on your list. Placing orders and organizing the entire order is completed and you sit back and wait for your wish list to arrive. Finally all your prized possessions can be staged once they have been delivered.

These aspects of staging can be done by the homeowner prior to any design work. Clutter is not necessarily mess but an accumulation of many objects. You may have a very expensive home that has already been designed by a professional but that may not help you sell your property. Sometimes homes are overly designed which can overwhelm buyers. Perhaps your décor is too personal and won’t appeal to some prospects that have different tastes.

It is important to reduce the number of items in a home that has many things in it. It could be too much furniture, too many trinkets, too many wall coverings, too many personal pictures or even too many floor coverings. Homeowners often put ‘added touches’ to their homes to make them more attractive. However, when it’s time to sell you must reduce these items so buyers can envision their own ideas in your home. If a buyer can see themselves living in your house they may want to buy it. Also removing clutter (if you have children they may have toys all over the floor = clutter) will add more freedom of movement in your home and will create more visual space. Remember, space sells.

Our designers will give you a complete consultation which includes all areas of your home including the front and back of the house. Buyers like to visualize living in your home and a neutral palette allows them to see your house as a blank canvas where they can create their own dream living space.
